Words of Prayer

Love Confession

The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost,

Therefore: I endure long and I am patient and kind;

I am never envious nor do I boil over with jealousy;

I am not boastful or vainglorious,

I do not display myself haughtily.

I am not conceited – arrogant or inflated with pride;

I am not rude.

I do not insist on my own rights or my own way

For I am not self-seeking

I am not touchy or fretful or resentful:

I take no account of the evil done to me.

I pay no attention to a suffered wrong.

I do not rejoice at injustice,

But I rejoice when right and truth prevail.

I bear up under anything and everything that comes,

Words of my Mouth

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank you that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, and because I am a new creature, I will speak of excellent things, and the opening of my lips shall be right things. For my mouth shall speak truth and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; and there is nothing forward or perverse in them. They are plain to him that understandeth and right to them that find knowledge.

My lips feed many because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. My tongue is as choice silver, and my mouth bringeth forth wisdom because I am the just. My lips know what is acceptable and my lips shall establish truth forever. I am a delight to the Lord, for I deal truly. My lips shall preserve me and I use knowledge aright because I am wise. Wisdom is found in my lips because I have understanding.

I have a wholesome tongue and it is a tree of life. Pleasant words are always in my mouth, because they are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to my bones.

My words are as deep waters and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook. God has given me wisdom and out of my mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. My mouth is a well of life. Death and life are in the power of my tongue, and I choose life. Therefore, I will not let any corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth. I will not speak evil of any man.

My thoughts are right because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, and lovely and of good report.

I have been transformed by the renewing of my mind with the Word of God because I have the mind of Christ and the wisdom of God. I am an imitator of Jesus.

Confession To Build Up Your Inner Man

Father God, this day I release words of faith into the earth, spiritual seed that bring both a spiritual harvest and a natural, physical manifestation into my life.

I have no cares for I cast the whole of my cares over on Jesus, for He cares for me. I have no heavy burdens because I’ve taken Jesus’ yoke which is easy and His burden which is light.

I will not allow my soul to be cast down for I put my hope and trust in God. I am above only and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I’m blessed coming in and blessed going out.

I am one spirit with God and I abide in Him always. I have the mind of Jesus Christ and the wisdom of God flows in me and through me. My body is the temple of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, for the fullness of God dwells in meI tread upon serpents and scorpions and I exercise righteous authority over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt me. I am skilled in the word of righteousness and I call things that be not as though they were. I will not fear what man or spirit can do unto me because no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Any tongue that rises against me in judgment shall be condemned.

The blood of the Lord Jesus Christ covers my spirit, soul and body, and has sanctified me and separated me from the world, the flesh and the devil. I not only have my senses exercised to discern both good and evil, but I aggressively come against the kingdom of darkness and spoil every plot and scheme satan has waged against me and those around me. I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.

I take my shield of faith and quench satan’s every fiery dart. I will not be distracted from doing the will of God, and I will not stray to the left hand or to the right. I have sound judgment and discretion and I refuse to be deceived by satan in any way.

My mind is sharp and my spirit is keenly sensitive to disturbances in the spirit realm. I watch and pray and prevent evil from taking place because the Holy Spirit shows me things to come. I am equipped with spiritual armor and weaponry and I am never caught off guard by the wicked one.

I sow fruits of righteousness and will never back down from the truth. I am bold as a lion and I refuse to be intimidated by the enemy.

All things are mine and I exercise dominion over the earth. I reign in life by Jesus Christ through grace and righteousness. My love weapon casts out fear and I aggressively love others unconditionally. For love never fails!

All of my days are filled with abundance and prosperity because Jesus is Lord over all. I choose to be a vessel through which His will can be done in the earth. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Health & Healing

Confession taken from pages 113-115 of Prayers that Avail Much Commemorative Gift Edition, © 1997 by Word Ministries, Inc.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I confess Your Word concerning healing. As I do this, I believe and say that Your Word will not return to You void, but will accomplish what it says it will. Therefore, I believe in the Name of Jesus that I am healed, according to 1 Peter 2:24. It is written in Your word that Jesus himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Therefore, with great boldness and confidence I say on the authority of that written Word that I am redeemed from the curse of sickness, and I refuse to tolerate its symptoms.

Satan, I speak to you in the Name of Jesus and say that your principalities, powers, your spirits who rule the present darkness, and your spiritual wickedness in heavenly places are bound from operating against me in any way. I am the property of Almighty God, and I give you no place in me. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. I abide, remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand.

Now, Father, because I reverence and worship You, I have the assurance of Your word that the angel of the Lord encamps around about me and delivers me from every evil work. No evil shall befall me, no plague or calamity shall come near my dwelling. I confess the Word of God abides in me and delivers to me perfect soundness of mind and wholeness in body and spirit from the deepest parts of my nature in my immortal spirit even to the joints and marrow of my bones. That Word is medication and life to my flesh for the law of the Spirit of life operates in me and makes me free from the law of sin and death.

I have on the whole armor of God, and the shield of faith protects me from all the fiery darts of the wicked. Jesus is the High Priest of my confession, and I hold fast to my confession of faith in Your Word. I stand immovable and fixed in full assurance that I have health and healing now in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Once this has been prayed, thank the Father that Satan is bound and continue to confess this healing and thank God for it.

Prayer for Prosperity

Father, in the Name of your Son Jesus, I confess your Word over my finances this day. As I do this, I say it with my mouth and believe it in my heart and know that your word will not return to you void, but will accomplish what it says it will do. Therefore I believe, in the Name of Jesus, that every need is met according to Philippians 4:19. I believe that because I have given tithes and offerings to further your cause, Father, gifts will be given to me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will they pour into my bosom. For with the measure I deal out, it will be measured back to me. Father, you have delivered me out of the authority of darkness into the Kingdom of your dear Son. Father, I have taken my place as your child. I thank you that you have assumed your place as my Father and have made your home with me. You are taking care of me and even now you are enabling me to walk in love and in wisdom, and to walk in the fullness of fellowship with your Son Jesus.

Satan, I bind you from my finances, according to Matthew 18:18, and loose you      from your assignment against me, in the Name of Jesus.

Father, I thank you that your ministering spirits (angels) are free to minister for me and bring in the necessary finances. Father, I confess you are a very present help in trouble, and you are more than enough. I confess, God, that you are able to make all grace – every favor and earthly blessing – come to me in abundance, so that I am always, and in all circumstances, furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.

Letting Go

To let go doesn’t mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else.

To let go is not to cut myself off, it is the realization that I can’t control or fix others.

To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To let go is not to try to change or blame another, I can only change myself

To let go is not to take care of, but to care about

To let go is not to judge but to allow other to affect their own outcomes

To let go is not to be protective, it is to permit another to face reality

To let go is not to deny, but to accept

To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue, but to search out my own short comings and to correct them.

To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each day as it comes and to cherish the moment

To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone, but to try to became what I dream I can be

To let go is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future

These are the instruction on how to let go. Perhaps it is letting go of a rebellious child or a burden of sorrow, losing a loved one or learning to live with a heartache which we just cannot let go of. Read this over, study it. Pray over it and you will find that letting go of your load will release a peace within you which allow you to soar – to be free, to completely give it to God… and let the work be done within you where the need is anyway.

Letting Go of the Past

Father, I realize my helplessness in saving myself, and I glory in what Christ Jesus has done for me. I let go – put aside all past sources of my confidence – counting them worth less than nothing, in order that I may experience Christ and become one with Him.

Lord, I have received Your Son, and He has given me the authority (power, privilege, and right) to become Your child.

I unfold my past and put into proper perspective those things that are behind. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me. I trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge You, and You will make my paths straight.

I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. So, whatever it takes, I will be one who lives in he fresh newness of life of those who are alive from the dead.

Letting Go of the Past

I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: regardless of my past I look forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which You are calling me up to heaven because of what Christ Jesus did for me.

In His name I pray, amen.

Prayer of Forgiveness

Mark 11:25,26 (Amplified) – And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.

Jesus prayed the Prayer of Forgiveness. Do you remember what some of His last words were when He was on the cross? “Father, forgive them.” He was saying, “I forgive them and, Father, I ask you to forgive them and not to put this on their charge.” He was crying out that they would be released; that God would forgive them.

There is a side to the Prayer of Forgiveness that is a form of intercession; a side where we stand in the gap, that God would not remember the sin of the person who has sinned against us. That’s how much love there is in this prayer. It doesn’t have anything to do with our feelings, good or bad.

Remember, it’s a choice we make. We choose to pray the Prayer of Forgiveness, and when we believe when we pray, it works. God hears and answers this kind of prayer. He loves it!

5 Steps to the Prayer of Forgiveness

  1. You must forgive the person who has wronged you
  2. Ask God to forgive them
  3. Ask God to forgive you
  4. Release the emotion of the situation and the relationship to the Lord. Pray about the hurt and rejection and release it in the presence of the Lord. Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray.
  5. Forget it! Right there in your prayer, just forget it.

Again, this is something you have to choose to do. Many people want to remember it, think about it, talk about it, and remember it some more. No! Forget it! If you’ll do that in your prayer, the Holy Spirit will help you. This doesn’t mean the relationship is automatically going to change; you have to understand that. There may still be things that have to be dealt with, but what you’re dealing with in this prayer is your heart and keeping it clean and pure. When the Holy Spirit leads you to pray this way, do it! There’s power in this kind of prayer.

Unforgiveness is a sin. Just ask God to forgive you.

Pray, “Father, first of all, I thank you that you showed me that this attitude was in my heart. I thank You, Father, that you love me and you showed Father, I ask You to forgive So-and-so for what he did and said and for how he acted, and for all the others who have been involved in this situation.

I ask in faith, out of the love of my heart, and with all the sincerity of my heart. I ask You, Father, to forgive them and, Father, I forgive them. I forgive all those words they said that hurt me. I forgive them, I ask you to forgive them, and together we let that go from their case.

And Father, I ask you to forgive me. I came into this and I thought negatively about it. I have been angry about it, and I have spoken angry words. I’ve harbored bitterness in my heart toward this, and I don’t want it to go any farther. I don’t want a root of bitterness to be in me.

Father, I ask you to forgive me. I know that I’ve said things in a wrong spirit and a wrong attitude about this person and about these people and, Father, I ask you to forgive me. I call it sin. I have sinned against you and against them. I confess it, and I thank You that when I confess my sin, you are faithful and just to forgive me and to restore me. I thank You, Father, for the purity and the cleansing of the Holy Spirit over my heart and mind and this relationship.”

Choose to let the rejection, feelings, and hurt go when you pray.

Pray, “Father, I also ask you and I thank you that you have healed me right now of those words and the hurt. I don’t want to come to you with self-pity, pride, or hardness toward you or anyone.

Father, I ask you to touch my heart. As an act of my will, I choose not to be hurt. I release the hurt, the rejection, and the emotion in this relationship. Father, I bless those who curse me.

Thank you, Father, for your power in my heart and mind that takes away hurt, rejection, and bad feelings. I receive your power now. I have it now, and I thank you for it in Jesus’ Name. The feelings, the hurt, the emotion is touched right now by the Holy Spirit. I thank you for it. I receive it in Jesus’ Name. I refuse to accept hurt, anger, isolation, frustration, or rejection.

Thank you, Father, for the freedom and the flow of the Holy Spirit touching my heart and mind right now. I take it by faith, and I’m healed in my heart, my mind, and my soul. I look to you, Holy Spirit, as my Comforter.”

Forgiving does involve forgetting. Pray in the Spirit if you want to, and then say,

“Father, now that I’ve prayed about this, I leave it here in your presence. I choose not to remember it. Holy Spirit, help me not to remember this. I leave it in your presence. It is finished. It is done. I forget it

because of the blood; because of love, in Jesus’ Name.

Holy Spirit, help me to walk this out. Help me, Father, because I still have to deal with these people; but now I can deal in purity and love, and I don’t have to deal out of hurt, bitterness, forgiveness, or hardness. I can walk in your wisdom, purity, and love and walk through this relationship victoriously, with your power.

I thank you, Father, for your help in this relationship. In Jesus’ Name, I will keep my heart right. Thank you, Father, that now I can walk in forgiveness. Let forgiveness flow from my life. I thank you for it.

Satan, I rebuke you and your hold on my life. You can’t bind me in this situation, in Jesus’ Name. I break the power of all rejection and every evil force released against me, in Jesus’ Name. Thank you, Father, for victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Sinner's Prayer

A Sinner’s Pray to Receive Jesus as Savior

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

Your Word says, “… him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37), so I

know You won’t cast me out, but You take me in and I thank You for it.

You said in Your Word, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be

saved” (Rom. 10:13). I am calling on Your Name, so I know you have saved me now.

You also said “.. . if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in

thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the

heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto

salvation” (Rom. 10:9-10). I believe in my heart Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe

that He was raised from the dead for my justification, and I confess Him now as my Lord.

Because Your Word says, “.. . with the heart man believeth unto righteousness …” and I

do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor.

5:21)… And I am saved!

Thank You, Lord!
